Aromatherapy

Each year thousands of tourists visit Mallorca, some to enjoy the relaxation of the Island and its deep blue sea and white sandy beaches, others to soak up the beer in Magaluf, which is known as being the partying capitol on this island.  Mallorca is one of three islands which are situated just of the east coast of mainland Spain, the other two neighbouring islands are Ibiza and Menorca.  Once on this island there is much to take in, and there are many places to visit in order to relax.  Calor Millor is situated on the east coast of the island and has kept in with Spanish traditions, not giving in to being built up like so many other resorts have.  Coach transfer to Cala Millor is rather long, and can take up to 2 hours, which in some cases is as long as the flight from Britain to Mallorca.  The journey is well worth the wait.

Alcudia is known for being family friendly, and the beach is the best on the island by far.  There are a number of hotels which line the streets, but Alcudia is not built up by any means, and is very popular with families during the holiday season.  There are bars which offer traditional English menus and full English breakfast as well as roast dinners on a Sunday.  The hotels in the area are smart and in keeping with the location.  The sandy beaches are bright white and free from rubbish, this is certainly a good location for any family wanting their kids to play on the beach.  There are many hotels to choose from here, some which just offer standard accommodation, and others which brag to really have it all, even wellness and spa facilities as well as offering massage and aromatherapy treatments for the ultimate in relaxing holidays.

Mallorca is a compact island so getting from end to end is no trouble with the use of a hire car.  Although the holiday industry does bring in a lot of revenue, Mallorca is open only seasonal to the tourist, and people wanting to travel here during the winter could find themselves disappointed.  This is one of the reasons why many people choose to buy fincas in Mallorca and holiday home on Mallorca (Ferienwohnung auf Mallorca).  Mallorca is a lovely island which is well worth a visit and welcomes one and all.
